DESCRIPTION– The Simple Hoodie is a semi-fitted style pattern intended for stable knit fabrics. Includes a lift up nursing option with a hidden banded opening underneath and a standard non-nursing option as well! It comes in 3 banded lengths: top, tunic, and above knee-length dress. Optional kangaroo pocket adds functionality. This pattern can be sewn on a sewing machine or a serger, but does require a sewing machine and/or coverstitch machine for hemming and topstitching. SIZING– The pattern comes in sizes 2-30. For the best fit, take current measurements and compare against the size chart. If in between sizes, size up for room to wear over layers. Includes 3 different height files. Petite for 5’1″ to 5’3″, Regular for 5’4″ to 5’6″, Tall for 5’7″ to 5’9″.

FABRIC– Requires approximately 1 1/2 to 3 yards. You will need a stable knit with at least 40% horizontal 25% vertical stretch for the main garment. The bands and cuff require at least 50% horizontal stretch.
**This pattern is best suited for thicker Cotton Lycra French Terry, Sweatshirt Fleece and heavier Sweater Knits. DBP, Rib Knit, or Cotton Lycra work well for the bands and cuffs. **

FILES– You will be able to download the printable sewing pattern and instructions you can then print at home on US letter 8.5×11” or A4 paper (you will not receive a physical copy of the pattern). This also includes a Projector file and an A0 Printshop file. You will need a PDF viewer (the free version of Adobe is recommended).
