DESCRIPTION: The Cowl Neck Top is a pattern intended for knit fabrics. It comes in top, tunic or dress length with a flared bottom and curved hem with hem facing. It has a pull-down neckline for easy breastfeeding access and an optional modesty panel (in 2 widths) for when you don’t want to expose a ton of skin (hello cold winter nights)! It can be sewn on a sewing machine or a serger, but does require a sewing machine or coverstitch machine for hems & topstitching.

SIZING: Includes lots of pictures with written step-by-step instructions for sizes XXS to 4X.
Use current measurements and compare with size chart in instructions for best fit.
FABRIC: Requires approximately 1- 3 yards of a stretch knit with 50% vertical & horizontal stretch (ITY, Lightweight Cotton Lycra, Rayon Spandex, Brushed Polyester, and some sweater knits will work great).
FILES: You will be able to download the printable sewing pattern and instructions you can then print at home on US letter 8.5×11” or A4 paper (you will not receive a physical copy of the pattern). This also includes a Projector file and an A0 Printshop file. You will need a PDF viewer (the free version of Adobe is recommended).

Great for warm and cool weather and flattering on most body shapes (when I say most, I’ve not seen one I didn’t like yet)
It’s very easy to breastfeed in without flashing those around you, so if you’re more conscious in public, this is perfect.
I’d say it’s good for a confident beginner – however if you do get stuck, the Facebook group is a really useful place to ask for help and everyone is friendly and welcoming there,no matter your skill level.
